Hi, my name is Charming. I was adopted two years ago by a very excited little boy, but he outgrew me. And then his Mommy and Daddy got divorced, and I was left behind at his Daddy's house. He didn't want to keep me because he doesn't have time to care for me, but he felt bad for me and didn't want me to end up in a shelter, so I stayed at the house with the little boy's dad. I have had to spend a lot of time outside and even sleep outside, and I don't like that because I am full of LOVE and I would much rather be sleeping in your bed with you, all snuggly warm so I can cuddle with you.

I am completely potty trained and I love to snuggle. I am pretty good at tolerating my baths, and I get flea meds to help with the fleas.

My foster Mommy really cares about me, and wanted to put this ad up because I am very VERY LONELY.

I have a brother named Chief, but he is not fully house trained so I don't know if we can stay together. My foster Mommy says she thinks I will do okay being separated from my brother, as long as I go to a house where I get a LOT of love. I love my brother because he keeps me company. I don't like being alone. I like a lot of attention and being pet, and snuggled with, and being loved.

I eat dry food with some canned food or cooked food on top and I LOVE that. My foster mommy puts olive oil on the food sometimes and oh by YUM I love when she does that. She even cooks ground beef sometimes and sprinkles some on top and boy oh BOY do I love when she does that!

I am close to being 2 years old. I had to spend an entire year living outside, but not anymore. I am SO SUPER HAPPY to be sleeping inside again! And getting fresh water and yummy food. The only thing I will need is someone to LOVE me and I will be happy. I sleep next to my brother Chief on a nice fluffy dog bed, and oh boy that thing is SO comfortable! I am lonely though because I'd rather be sleeping in bed under the covers, snuggled up next to humans.

I would probably get along well with another friendly dog. I am okay with cats, but I do like eating their cat food so my foster Mommy puts the cat food plates up high on the counter so I can't reach. I probably need some training to work on this problem, but boy oh boy the cat food is SO GOOD!!

I LOVE walks on the leash, and attention of any kind, really. I dream of the day where I can find my perfect home and family to care for me, and I LOVE little children.

Thank you for reading my profile, Lots of LOVE to you!

Love, Charming.

PS- I am located in Polk City, which is near Lakeland. I know that may be a bit far of a drive, but I would love to meet you to see if I can find my forever home.

Our Adoption Process...

We require an initial phone interview, vet references and personal references. We will then schedule an in person interview to meet with the adoption coordinator and cat being considered for adoption. We accept donations from $15-$50 upon adoption and we do have you sign an adoption contract. Thank you for giving a rescue cat a second chance at life!
