My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet little Wesley is about 4 months old, 9 lbs and about 10 inches tall. He will be a small guy when he is grown up. He is potty pad trained, and we are working on outside potty time, but he views walks as more of a frolicking playtime and less as a potty time. His foster mom says he doesn’t quite comprehend walks yet, but will greatly improve with practice. Wesley also knows “enough,” “off,” and “stay,” but gets too excited to listen to “sit” for very long. He is extremely smart and food-motivated, so more training would come easily.

Wesley is a rambunctious romper. This adorable pup is a lean love machine. He is super playful especially with his foster fur brother and is always down for cuddles and snuggles. He is an affectionate little fellow and is a joy to have around. He would be ok with young children over 5 who are mental with him. He hasn’t met a cat but we feel he would do fine with them.

At night Wesley crawls into his crate for bedtime and finds great comfort in having a safe place but during the day he hates being in there and is good being left out of it when we go out. He loves to be in a room with his person and his fur buddy. Toys and The crate is also how his foster mom transports him, because he feels safer during travel time that way.

When you’re around Wesley, he is just a super fun ball of energy who brings you toys and gives you infinite amounts of kisses. When the excitement and energy dies down, he curls up on your lap or in the crook of your arm and naps. He would be the perfect fit for a home that has energy but enjoys the luxury of relaxing with this little cuddle bug. He is a little shy at first meet telling you to back off until he feels you aren’t a threat but as time goes on his confidence is building and he warms up faster and faster to strangers all the time.

Wesley can be left alone with no issues but is definitely people oriented and prefers his people or other pets to be with him. He would do well in a household where there already is a canine companion or someone who is around a lot and doesn’t work a full day.

Wesley’s adoption fee is $275.00 and he is being fostered in South San Francisco, CA

All our dogs are in private foster homes and arrangements to meet our dogs occur after an application has been received.
