Olive **In Foster Home**'s Story...
Olive is approximately 1 year old and weighs about 14 lbs. She has a little bit of a limp sometimes from and old injury on her hind leg. She is also heartworm positive but it is treatable and will be covered by the sanctuary. She has spent some time in foster and her foster parents say is a total gem! She seems to get along with other dogs well, and was only curious about the cats she was around. She is always happy and wagging her tail. She does great in a crate or out.

Come and meet me!!! We have open adoptions every Saturday from 10 to 2 or make an appointment by calling Carol at 610-392-4804 or emailing clong@thesanctuarypa.org

NOTE: Please call first, as this dog may be in a foster home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Olive **In Foster Home**, a Breinigsville Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Breinigsville, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Breinigsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Breinigsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Breinigsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Breinigsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
