Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tex is an incredibly social young cat. He wowed the folks at the clinic with his friendly persona. Tex and his "brother", Slim were found on the side of a rural road near our home. I was actually walking one of our not-so-cat-friendly boxers one morning and Tex came bounding out of the woods meowing and running towards us. I don't think the dog would have eaten Tex, but Tex was sure not afraid. I was going to try to get back to my house so I could put the dog up and come back for the cats but Tex would have no part of that. He was DETERMINED to follow me so I scooped him up and ran back to the house with Tex on my shoulder and the boxer on leash...we must have been quite a sight!. We have adult outdoor cats that would accept Tex into their "clan" but Tex deserves a real indoor home...plus he is NOT road-savvy...so please let us know if you can provide a wonderful indoor home for this happy fellow. He does use his litter box.
Tex has been neutered and has gotten his rabies and first shot. He tested negative for FeLv/FIV. Please contact cedarfarm@yadtel.net if you are interested in adopting this wonderful cat! Note: The suggestion donation amount for a fully-vetted and spay/neutered cat adoption is $100. Video is available. Please send us your email and we can tell you how to access it. Thank you!
