My story

UPDATE 10/25/08 - Slim now weighs a whopping 3.5 lbs!!! so he was able to have his neuter this week. He, like Brother Tex, tested FIV/FeLV negative. We have video of the cats and can send you a link in an email. Please write to us at cedarfarm@yadtel.net.

Slim and his brother Tex came running out of the woods into the middle of our rural road as I was walking one of our dogs. I imagine someone had just dumped them there to fend for themselves. They were VERY excited to see me because they certainly did NOT want to fend for themselves and DEFINITELY wanted to come along with me. Slim is NOT a road-savvy kitty and I was so scared he was going to get hit before I could get back but I made it and got Slim to safety here at Cedar Farm. We just rescue dogs but had to open up our home to these two adorable kittens and have promised them we will work just as hard as we do for the dogs to find them a safe, loving, indoor home. Slim weighed too little to have his neuter this week...he weighed only 1.5 lbs...but is eating like a horse, so I imagine he can have the surgery shortly. He is very friendly and has a very loud motor :) He will have all of his shots when he gets the neuter and prior to adoption.
