Macey's Story...
Hello, World. I'm Macey. I'm 7 weeks of pure fun! My Wagging Hearts family believes me I am a terrier mix. I don't think I'll grow to be too big- I'm travel-sized for your convenience! I'm learning all about life in the real world, outside of the shelter. I'm an energy-filled pup so I really enjoy playing, running, and every sport I've been exposed to so far. I have young kids in my foster home and I'm learning about limits. Sometimes I get so caught up in the fun that I jump up for a high five or a chest bump, so I need a family that will help me learn how to play best with my human siblings. I am doing fantastic with crate training at night- I'll cry for the first minute and then settle in for a good sleep to recharge my batteries and get ready for another day of rescued life. Sometimes I bark when I'm feeling sassy (I'm not as tough as I look and sound), but I stop right away when I'm told. I'm learning all about this potty-training thing and I'm working really hard. I've heard it takes time and patience. I'm learning what's okay to chew on and what's not okay to chew on. I do love a good snuggle with blankets. I like tucking my nose into things, like my foster mama's sweatshirt. I don't mean to brag, but I've heard that I have a beautiful nose- I've been told that it makes me extra-adorable. Do you agree? The best part of my beautiful nose is that I am a big fan of nose-kisses. My humans will kiss my nose, and then I kiss their nose. It's kind of magical. I'm looking for my furever family to trade nose-kisses with, and I'm hoping that it's you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Macey, a Hainesville Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Hainesville, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Hainesville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hainesville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hainesville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hainesville paves the way for another one to be saved.
