My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Robbins but my foster family calls me Robbie. I’m a big, sweet natured boy. I’m turning 2 in June so I’m still a baby but I don’t act like one.
I’m 100% house broken and really quiet in the house. I love to run around with my foster brother in the yard but, inside, I’d rather curl up on the couch or on one of the doggie beds. I have a big bark but I don’t feel the need to talk much. Except in my sleep – I grumble and huffle in my dreams. My foster mom thinks it’s very cute.
I am very good with my foster beagle brother and sister. My brother loves to chase me and tackle me. He’s so small I think it’s funny! I pretend that I can’t get up even though I’ve got about 25 lbs on him. My foster sister doesn’t seem to like me much. I sit near her and try to get her to love me, but she just growls. I keep trying though. I’m confident if I’m patient, she’ll be my friend.
We visited a neighbor to meet her cats. Cats are ok I guess, but I didn’t pay them much attention. Or the guinea pig either. They have a dog too so I just played with him.
I like going for walks and am pretty good on a leash. My foster parents got me a harness though, because if I see something exciting I pull and I’m really strong.
My foster mom took me to the vet when she got me because my right eye looks strange. Turns out I hurt it long ago and can’t see out of it. But it doesn’t bother me so that’s good. The vet said I weigh almost 47 lbs and that I’m not fat, but I could stand to lose a few pounds. I’m hoping running around in the yard is helping with that.
I do love my food … I broke into the food closet and ate a bunch the other day. It was great! But my foster parents put a gate on the door and now I can’t do that. I also like to counter surf but my people have figured out to keep food way back and I can’t reach it anymore.
I’m looking for a family to love because I have lots of it inside me and it comes out in kisses all the time. I can’t help myself! I’m a LOVER!
