Eleanor's Story...
Lady Eleanor is the most perfect dog you will ever meet! Eleanor was pulled from a high volume shelter after she was owner surrendered because her family was moving and not taking her with them.

Eleanor has been an absolute lady since she arrived. Eleanor is house trained and not destructive in the slightest. She gets along well with other dogs AND cats, and will pretty much just ignore them. Eleanor is absolutely in LOVE with all people. She loves to lay around for pets and sprawl across your lap for cuddles. Her favorite activity is getting her butt scratched, and she will even do a little dance for you when you do it!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Eleanor, a Indianapolis Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Indianapolis, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Indianapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indianapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indianapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indianapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
