My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Misty's Magic! This sweet 10 year old purebred border collie is looking for a caring family to finally call her own. Misty has spent most of her life outdoors in a kennel run and is LOVING soft dog beds, back scratches and the company of her foster family and canine friends. She is mesmerized by the foster puppies and watches them for hours and wants to play with them! Misty is shy at first, but very quickly warms up and wants to be close to her family, wagging her tail and smiling. She is still a bit startled by things like vacuum cleaners and other household noises, but she is learning quickly. Misty is great about going outside to go potty and goes out frequently. One level living is what Misty wants. She is able to navigate the 6 steps off her deck to go outside now and we expect her to get stronger with the help she is receiving in rescue. Misty is looking for a family to give her the love she so badly wants for the remainder of her years. She has a LOT of love left to give and would make an excellent companion.
