Luke - Adopted!'s Story...
Say hello to Luke. This adorable guy came into rescue when his owner passed away. He's a purebred Bichon (with papers!) but weighs in at a surprising 18 pounds. He's not overweight, he's just a LARGE Bichon! Luke is 11 years old, but he acts like a much younger dog and has a healthy energy level. Luke is neutered, vetted, house trained, and good with dogs and cats. He hasn't been around children yet. Luke is very sweet and very playful. This handsome fella has lots of life left to live, and plenty of love left to give!
Approx DOB 1/1/2006

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luke - Adopted!, a West Bloomfield Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise for sale in West Bloomfield, or seeking a Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in West Bloomfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Bloomfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Bloomfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise breeders who help with Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Bloomfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
