Xara was an owner surrender to the county shelter and Home Fur Good swooped in and scooped her up. Xara is an instant hit with staff and volunteers; her gentle, calming, and loving disposition easily rubs off on everyone. She is a three-year-old Australian Kelpie mix, which gives her adorable freckles, floppy ears, and a constant smile. Xara is crate trained and waits politely to be taken out; she also knows the cues for sit and down. Xara can be dog selective, so a meet-and-greet would be mandatory if you already have a dog. Xara wants to be with her human; when left alone she has shown her ability to climb fences. You need to meet Xara while you can, share in her enthusiasm, and have a brighter day. The adoption fee is $200 and includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness visit with our vet. Our adoption hours are Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 am-4:00 pm, and Mondays by appointment, and we are located at 10220 N. 32nd Street (just south of Shea Blvd.) in Phoenix. We offer a low-cost vaccine clinic on Sundays from 11:00 am-2:30 pm, and a low-cost dental clinic on Wednesdays by appointment. Visit our website at www.homefurgood.org for more information.
