Angel's Story...
Angel is everything you'd expect from a 6 year old Golden Retriever. She's 75 lbs and quite a looker! This sweet girl enjoys human interaction above all else. She has a sibling, Halo, who she'd like to stay with if possible. Angel is pretty laid back and would enjoy a nice walk and some play time daily but she's easy going and will go with the flow. As is typical with the breed, Angel has experiences soreness in her hips after strenuous activity so she might not be your speed for mountain climbing or running marathons but she enjoys typical activities followed up by downtime. If you'd like to cuddle she's completely on board for that! Her adoption fee is $250. Visit https://mustlovedogsnw.org/ to download the adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angel, a Vancouver Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Vancouver, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Vancouver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vancouver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vancouver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vancouver paves the way for another one to be saved.
