Dodge Mama Lors's Story...
Thank You Mama Lors !!!
Huge thanks to MAMA LOR'S CAFE in Webster/Union Hill, for sponsoring this weekends transport that saved 17 lives! A favorite lunch spot with many of our volunteers, Mama Lors held a fundraising dinner for us a few months ago and used the money to sponsor this life-saving run. THANK YOU to Mama Lors!
Dodge, Dean, & Darcy were born about November 3, 2016 and will probably weigh about 40 lbs. when full grown. These beautiful teens are sweet as can be, but just a bit reserved at first. They may need a little warm up time, but then should fit in about any home. They are wonderful with the other dogs. We have no clue of parentage, just guessing by looks. The southern shelter doesn't ask any questions on intake as the reason is usually financial and the staff doesn't want to embarrass anyone. They are just thankful humans take the dogs there and the shelter staff is also very thankful that so many dogs are destined for the safety of NYS! Please understand that we do not adopt siblings together, it can cause problems later on in life. The Adoption Fee for this dog is $350.00.
Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY.
Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
YOU MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO ADOPT A DOG FROM JOYFUL RESCUES
We keep our pet list as up-to-date as possible. As soon as a pet is adopted, it is removed from the list. If a pet is still showing, it is still available for adoption.
Our primary goals here at Joyful Rescues are to re-home pets and save them from becoming homeless in the future, educate the public on pet care and spaying/neutering to control the pet overpopulation, to spay/neuter every pet before they leave us and spay/neuter as many pets, belonging to the public, as possible within our means.
