MEET MORTY!! **Please Note: This is a courtesy post for another individual; different adoption fees/policy apply.

>>> Morty is an absolute sweetheart, he loves walks, treats, and loads of attention. He is not a big fan of cats, but is friendly with other dogs and warm and friendly with people.  He also loves rides in the car! He's a good leash walker and LOVES to go for long hikes.  He would make an excellent walking/hiking companion. He's a lower energy dog, and sleeps most of the day after his daily exercise.   He has not had much exposure with kids, but most likely would do great, as long as they are a bit older as not to scare him.

Morty is a super smart boy, and already knows "Sit" and "Stay".  He's already housebroken .but has not yet had exposure to a doggy door.  But he learns quickly, so would most likely do well with one. He's an absolute angel and needs one of his own for his remaining years!

Morty does suffer from some current minor hair loss, which has been coming back in over the past few weeks. He will likely benefit most from a good, grain free diet, good grooming and good nutrition.

About Underdog Rescue of Arizona

About Our Rescue Group...

Underdog Rescue of Az is an all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescuing and re-homing of abandoned and/or abused dogs.

We are a foster-based rescue, and do not maintain a physical base of operations. All of our animals are placed with loving, caring safe foster families until they are adopted. We are also an "All Breed" rescue, and do not discriminate based on breed, age, size, etc.

Underdog's mission also includes educating the public on the issue of animal welfare. We strive to promote shelter reform, spay and neuter education and emergency rescue information & assistance.

Our Adoption Process...

All potential adopters will be required to complete our Adoption Application, read and sign our Adopting Policies and Procedures, and participate in a home visit by one of our adoption representatives. Our Adoption Application is located on our website: www.underdogaz.com.

We also have a mandatory two-week Foster With Intent to Adopt trial period for all animals in order to be certain the pet is a good fit for your family.

Our standard adoption fee for dogs is $200; puppies are $250.

Non-standard fees do sometimes apply. Puppies younger than six months may have a higher fee. Designer dogs, purebreds, and other toy type breeds may also have higher adoption fees than the standard $200.

We do, however, have discounted fees for dogs that are seniors, a pair of dogs adopted together, or cats. If you are a veteran or an active duty service member, please ask about our partnership with Pets For Patriots.

All Underdog pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped prior to adoption.

We are a 501c3 non profit, your donations save lives and are 100% tax deductible.
