My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

IDGSR WELCOMES JACK INTO THE SAFETY OF THE RESCUE!!!!

Jack is a handsome German Shepherd who was saved by an IDGSR volunteer who took him into her home to foster. Here is what his foster mom has to say about Jack:

"Jack is a wonderful purebred male German Shepherd weighing in at a whopping 94 lbs! Don't let his size fool you, he is a big teddy bear. He loves being both outdoors and indoors. He is wonderful with children of all ages as well as adults and other dogs. He loves all people but especially men. Jack is approximately 5 yr. old. Jack loves car rides and is crate trained. He is afraid of storms and he can easily jump a 6 ft. fence so when outside it is best if he is on a leash or a very strong runner lead. He also will chase and jump on cars so a city home may not be the best for him. He has some separation anxiety so when he is home alone for long periods his crate is the safest place for him. Jack knows basic commands and is always ready to learn. Obedience training will help Jack form a strong bond with his new owner and become the best family dog he can be."

If you would like to make Jack a part of your family, please copy the link and fill out an application.
