Cruz is a pure American Short-hair Cuddler. As is typical of the breed he is very loyal and affectionate. This superior specimen is not only friendly with people (adult and child) but other dogs and even cats. He exemplifies all the best qualities of the ASC: adaptable to all terrain and outdoor activities that people engage in (climbs rocks like a goat, not afraid of water) and still keeps his weight trim so he's not too heavy for lap snuggles. He is very interested in Yoga to keep flexible, all the better to contort for petting & tummy rubs. He has studied Human House Manners and is working towards an advanced degree. He has certification in: House-training, Crate, Dinner Etiquette. He is still completing his work on Advanced Leash Manners - which encompasses good behavior, following his leader, and staying calm in new/distracting environments. Cruz has perfected the high jump, so this agile pup will need a home with a 6 foot fence.

Cruz is thought to be a Sheppard/Lab mix with an estimated DOB of Nov 2015. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and weighs 45 pounds.

Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue. We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
