Good day! My name is Joey. I am a gentle-natured male Schipperke mix born in 2014. I weigh around 32 pounds.
I know it sounds kind of cheesy but my personality has many layers- sort of like an onion! As I get to know you my layers will begin to peel and reveal my true core. When I first meet you, I will only expose my first layer. I come off quite shy and bashful with strangers. With time, love, and patience, I just know I can peel back those layers and show you what a wonderful guy I am! Even though meeting new people can be sometimes be a little intimidating for me, I'm always sure to be super sweet. I'm pretty sure there isn't a mean bone in my body. Once we are more acquainted I'll be happy to reveal my true heart! When I'm comfortable (and in the mood) I can be an awesome snuggle bug! I also love cozying up to my humans in bed for bedtime! In my previous home I also did well with other dogs! However, I'd still need to meet any other pooch friends in the home just to make sure that we can comfortably coincide.
I think that when I am more out of my shell I'll be an active pooch! It would be awesome if I could be taken along for fun adventures to wear me out! Hiking, Running, Walking- you name it! Those all sound fun to me! In addition to keeping me physically stimulated, it is also important that you exercise my mind! I am well versed in my basic commands but would love to learn more with you.
Last but not least, I feel I should mention my ADORABLE looks! I am the cutest and most perfect medium size. I also have just about the cutest tush ever with my little nubbin tail! Once you see how adorable I am, you won't be able to resist taking me home forever!
