My name is Starr, and I am a beautiful, loving tortoiseshell Maine Coon/ domestic medium hair mix girl who was born in December 2014. I've lived a sheltered life, so I'm shy at first, but I warm up after I get acclimated to my new home and realize that I am safe and loved. I get along great with the other kitties and little dogs in my home.
I'm in quite a pickle in that my lifetime bonded companion lost her home and couldn't take me with her when she moved in with friends. She and I are so grateful that Buster's Friends stepped up to the plate to help me find a new home. My new foster meowmy thinks that I would do best in a quiet home where I am able to feel relaxed and comfortable. If you want a beautiful, loving girl who just needs a little patience and TLC, then I am perfect for you. I hope that you come meet me today!
Starr is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, FIV/ FeLV negative, and ready for her indoor-only home. No de-clawing permitted. Her adoption fee is $100, cash or check payable to Buster's Friends. Please click the contact button if you are interested in Starr, and we can let you know exactly where you can meet her.

About Buster's Friends - Fort Worth

About Our Rescue Group...

Buster’s Friends, Inc. is a rescue group and non-profit 501c3 organization dedicated to helping homeless and abandoned adult cats and kittens find permanent homes through our network of foster homes. We are not a shelter or facility, and all animals in our program are fostered by individuals who keep the cat at their residence until it is adopted. This foster care for cats and kittens gives them specialized care in a nurturing home environment.
Buster’s Friends was created in memory of Jennifer Fields, who spent countless hours rescuing and fostering hundreds of Houston’s homeless animals prior to losing her battle to cancer in May 2009. As a tribute to Jennifer and her dedication, we named the group after her beloved dog Buster, who made the journey to the Rainbow Bridge in August 2008.
