Isabella's Story...
Little Isabella was surrendered with her sister Nellie at a shelter in Baytown, TX.  A volunteer intercepted the two in the parking lot to keep them out of the shelter.  Isabella is a little gem.  She is currently 7 lbs and amazing.  She looks like a lab puppy with German Shepherd markings.  She has floppy ears presently.  She is the sweetest little thing!  She loves to be held and loves to give kisses.  She has puppy breath!  She loves to play with other dogs and loves to snuggle! She is really good in her puppy pen.  She is good natured and really loves people.  She loves to run and play with the dogs in her foster home…but she loves to check back in with her foster mom for snuggles.  She is simply amazing!!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Isabella, a Fort Atkinson Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Fort Atkinson, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Fort Atkinson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Atkinson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Atkinson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Atkinson paves the way for another one to be saved.
