I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Ash's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Ash's Story...
Meet our special little guy Ash! Ash is about 11 months old and 35lbs. We don't anticipate him getting much bigger, maybe just filling out a little more. Ash has a condition called juvenile diabetes, and is getting insulin injections twice a day along with doing some in-home testing a few times a week. He absolutely adores other animals and makes fast friends with everyone he meets! Ash is a medium energy boy, that loves to lounge on the couch and be your cuddle buddy. We are looking for a family with experience with diabetes and giving insulin injections, but will consider other appropriate candidates willing to learn. Ash is truly a WONDERFUL boy with an amazing heart. His new family will be so lucky to have him...

If you're interested in adopting Ash, please go to our website www.pprct.org and fill out our adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ash, a bridgeport American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever for sale in bridgeport, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in bridgeport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in bridgeport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a bridgeport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in bridgeport paves the way for another one to be saved.
