Meet the very sweet 2 year old Collette. Her real name is Dog but it is not fitting for such a beautiful girl. Her family had her for all of her life but after 2 years the landlord said she had to go. The family signed her over so now she can hopefully find a family who will take good care of her and let her be a part of the family and live inside. She has never known what being inside a home is or had a soft bed to sleep on. She hopes it does not take long to get a new home because she is very frightened by all of the noise inside the shelter. The family said she is good with kids but she has not been around other dogs or cats. Collette will sit and stay when told. She has had babies in her past but that part of her life is also over. She is now spayed, and will be micro-chipped when adopted. Sadly she has tested positive for heartworms, but with treatment, she should be good as new in no time. Please speak to your veterinarian regarding treatment options. She is waiting to meet you in run 81 and her ID# is 592065.
