Joy's Story...
Meet Sweet Joy - She is a lab/anatolian shepherd mix. She was surrendered by her family to a high kill east Texas shelter. She is approximately 2 yrs old, house trained, does well in her crate, loves to play and cuddle. Her foster says she loves sleeping on her dog bed. She was pretty skinny when we took her from the shelter but is now doing well. Interested in meeting Joy, email us at tailsfromtheheart@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joy, a Plano Labrador Retriever/Anatolian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Anatolian Shepherd for sale in Plano, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Anatolian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Plano.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plano already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plano breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Anatolian Shepherd breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Anatolian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plano paves the way for another one to be saved.
