MEET OLIVER BRADY...

WHAT A GOOBER!  This handsome little guy was picked up a couple months ago, as a stray running in traffic on a v-e-r-y busy street.  No collar, chip and no-one looking for him.  So Grateful Paws took him to our vet for an exam, vaccines, neuter and micro-chip.

He was adopted but he's too active and playful for the smaller children in the house. So we are looking for a new forever home with no small children.

He is a smart dog and a quick learner.  HE LOVES TO PLAY! Loves other dogs and LOVES to give kisses!  BUT - he is a puppy with lots of energy!  AND he would benefit from an active owner (runner, bicyclist, etc.) He's had a puppy training class and did very well... but he has LOTS of energy... and a tired dog is a well behaved dog!

He's about 11 months old, just about full grown, 45 pounds and sweet as can be!

Adoption fee $250

Please email for an application:  info@gratefulpaws.org

NOTE: Adoption fees are applied towards the vet bill: Exam, blood tests, vaccinations, fecal, worming, spay/neuter, and microchip. There is rarely anything left over, but if that happens, the monies get applied to the next or previous pet - who may have had to have an x-ray, be groomed or have a dental.

About Grateful Paws Dog & Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of animal loving people who volunteer our time to save the life of a dog or cat in need. We are not breed specific but our ability to help depends entirely upon whether we have a foster home in which to place the pet while we are looking for a new forever home.

We are entirely volunteer and none of us are compensated for our time or efforts. Monies donated go toward the animals in our care.

Come Meet Our Pets...

For the most part, we reply primarily on the internet because we all work full-time jobs during the week!

We do not have a physical building - but we try to participate in Saturday (and sometimes a Sunday) adoption events from 11am - 3pm on a regular basis. Please check our website for our most current calendar that shows where we will be. www.gratefulpaws.org..

It is always best to check the Upcoming Events page of our website www.gratefulpaws.org/upcomingevents.html

or give us a call to find out where we are going to be. Week nights 954-462-8840 eves after 8pm or on the week-ends: 954-579-3753.

Our EMAIL is monitored day and night, and is the BEST way to contact us.

Our Adoption Process...

We perform a telephone or in-person interview and ask our perspective adopters to complete an application for review by our board (generally takes a day or less). We want to meet the family, so we will come to your house to see where our pet will live. We do a vet check and if applicable, a landlord or condo association check as well. And finally, we accept an adoption donation that is applied towards the vet and care bill for that pet. The range is from $75 to $350.
