HISTORY:
Bowie was a stray from Oak Forest Animal Control. He was found in a parking lot with a younger male dog. They were both emaciated. We assume they were intentionally dumped.
ABOUT:
Bowie is a very easy going guy. He was found with a young adult male and is currently being fostered with a large female dog. Bowie loves playtime with his furry foster sister. Bowie is housetrained and has asked his foster mom to take him outside from day one. He’s a huge fan of his daily walks and has great leash manners. His foster mom has no problem walking both dogs at once. As much as Bowie loves to play with his foster sister and get out for his walks, he also is perfectly content being a couch potato. He isn’t the type of dog that needs to be “worn out” in order to be happy, but he sure likes being outside and active. If he were an only dog walks and exercise would be more important as he currently uses some of his energy rumbling with his foster sister. He is currently living the apartment life and would be appropriate for an apartment/condo. Bowie is currently being crated, and will just go in to hang out during the day.
Bowie is really a great dog. His foster mom describes him as: Awesome, Sweet, Easy, Loving, Adorable, Friendly, and Adaptive. Seriously, it doesn’t get much better than this!
