Peanut's Story...
Hello, my name is Peanut. I am 10 months old boy and I weigh about 6 lbs. I am a Chiweenie { Chihuahua and Daschund }. I am a little timid and pretty much on the quiet side but I will let you know when I hear strange noises. I am not a fan of the crate and prefer not to be in it. I love going for long walks or playing in the yard. Peanut may reach 10 lbs when full grown. Peanut would do well in a family setting where he is given lots of attention, limited time alone and can be close to his people. He likes lap sitting, and cuddling anytime, anywhere. Children ages 9 and up would be ideal. Peanut seems to be potty trained although new environments tend to be a little stressful all around. He has access to a doggie door at his foster home and knows how to use it. Peanut is up to date on all shots, heart worm negative, on heart worm preventative, microchiped, de-wormed, had a dental, and neutered. Peanut’s adoption fee is $300.00. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging transport, WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peanut, a Bridgeton Chihuahua/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Bridgeton, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Bridgeton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bridgeton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bridgeton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bridgeton paves the way for another one to be saved.
