Hopscotch's Info...

I am already neutered, a special needs pet, and up to date with shots.

Hopscotch's Story...
Meet Hopscotch! Hopscotch came to us from a feral colony of cats. We were told he had been limping- hence the name. After a vet check up he is missing a couple of toes on two of his feet, and also missing some chunks of skin on his face and neck from fighting for his life. He is positive for FIV. Which is NOT necessarily a bad thing. He can still have a long, happy life and can even live with FIV negative cats! I encourage you to research this disease! He has been neutered, vaccinated, flea treated, wormed, and being treated for ear mites! He is a super sweet boy and deserves a great home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hopscotch, a Morgantown Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Morgantown, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Morgantown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Morgantown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Morgantown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Morgantown paves the way for another one to be saved.
