My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wendy is just a doll of a dog. She is approx 13 lbs and 3 years old. She is just adorable and looks like a fox terrier/maybe cairn mix. She is very sweet, loves to hang out on a comfy pillow, does well on a leash and seems to be pretty well house trained. She gets along with all of her rescue buddies and just loves toys. She is just the sweetest little girl who had a rough start. When we rescued her from the shelter she had pneumonia, they even thought she may have had distemper but she pulled through and then had to be treated for her heartworms. She did great and she has also been started on a monthly heartworm preventative.

The total adoption donation of $475 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. We also provide a coupon for a free wellness visit to the South Wilton Vet group if convenient for you. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. Our application is online at http://houstonshaggydogrescue.org/application-process/
