Fiero's Story...

Hi my name is Fiero and I am a creamy, very light orange

young kitty about 6 months old. I was found starving in the

lady’s garden. I was scared when she caught me and I hissed at

her (but never attacked or scratched her) Now I am a lover

boy. I love being petted and I will lick your fingers and

sometimes your nose. I have a very loud purr. I also love

playing but not as much as my brother Dash who is also

available for adoption. Dash will go fetch toys, I prefer to have

the toy brought to me! Dash and I also like to tussle. The lady

says I am very close to being a lap cat since I will sleep on the

chair beside my humans and love being petted. However, I flop

around like a fish when being picked up or put down. Once I

am close to her chest I am fine. I am weird that way. The lady

thinks I will be a very big and mellow purr box when I grow up.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fiero, a Orlando Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Orlando, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Orlando.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Orlando already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Orlando breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Orlando paves the way for another one to be saved.
