Kiowa's Story...
Kiowa is spunky, fun, smart, and sweet. She is your typical curious puppy, and is working on crate and house training. At just under 2 months old (as of Feb 16), she has had 2 rounds of puppy shots so she can't work on leash training and socialization in the outside world yet, but with her smarts she'll catch on quickly once she's fully vaccinated. She loves playing with her foster sisters and adores hide-and-seek. We do know her grandparents and parents, so we know she is a shep/husky/retriever mix. We estimate her to be between 55-65lbs when full grown. but what she looks like and how big she gets will be a surprise. We do know that her parents, just like her, are intelligent, energetic, and sweet. If you're looking for puppy love that grows into an amazing adult dog, Kiowa is your girl. Of course, puppies require training, structure, proper socialization, and lots of patience. If you are ready to help Kiowa reach her full potential, email callie.e.jennings@gmail.com to request an adoption application and to request a meet and greet. Home visit and references are required to adopt. Kiowa will complete 4 rounds of puppy shots, spay, chip, and yearly vaccines as an East CAN dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kiowa, a Nashville Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Husky puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Husky for sale in Nashville, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Husky puppy from a breeder in Nashville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nashville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nashville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Husky breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nashville paves the way for another one to be saved.
