My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Cruz 'cuz the great people at DLRR saved me from the Las Cruses Pound in New Mexico. I'm a yellow lab about 3 years old and I love to play! I'm just shy of 70 pounds but I love my foster siblings. My foster mom hasn't introduced me to any cats so I'm not sure how I'll be around them, but so far I've shown nothing but love to other animals. I was in the Las Cruses shelter for 6 months so if I had any manners I've forgotten them but so far my foster mom says I learn pretty quickly. I have a history of Tick Fever so my new family will have to check with their veterinarian to see if I need on-going care but so far I'm not sick! I love to play with rope toys and my foster brother. I go into a kennel but I'm not happy about it and I really just want to be with my people. I love to sneak in the doggy door and surprise my foster mom! I think I'd be a great addition to any family!
