My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there. I’m Possum, and that’s my sister, Pickles. We were adopted when we were little and thought we had found the perfect forever home. Then the unthinkable happened, our owners moved and left us behind. We sat by our “old”front door every day hoping that our owners would come back and let us in. But they never did. Lucky for us, some nice volunteers from Henrico Humane took us in and found us a wonderful forever home. Our new foster mom tells us that there are people out there who give second chances to sweet girls like us.

Pickles and I are very loving kitties, we just need some new special humans to share that love with. We don’t have many requirements for our forever home. All we really want is to stay together and to find a family who will love us forever and never abandon usagain. Will you be our second chance at happily ever after?

I hope to find a family that will invite me into their homes and hearts forever!

If you'd like to meet me, please email cats@henricohumane.org to setup a visit. Don't forget to tell them you want to meet Pickles and Possum!

If you're not sure which cat you're interested in or are just beginning to search for a companion, our adoption coordinators can help! Just fill out a short questionnaire at: www.henricohumane.org/adopt/cat-adoption-questionnaire/ that will help us match you with our wonderful cats then visit us at our Adoption Stand at West Broad Petco (next to Trader Joe's) every Saturday from 11:00 to 3:00.
