Diamond's Story...
Hi my name is Diamond! I am a Miniature Schnauzer who is 8 years old and 9 lbs. Everyone always comments on my beautiful coloring. I spent my entire life being used for breeding and living in an outdoor kennel, which has resulted in me being shy with new people and in new environments. I am looking for a quiet home with another dog. When I am comfortable in an environment, like I am in my foster home, I am very silly and sweet!

If you are interested in adopting me, please submit an application online at www.orphanannierescue.org.

My adoption fee is $150, which includes my spay, shots, heartworm testing, and microchipping.

I am available for adoption in metro Atlanta only.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Diamond, a Atlanta Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Atlanta, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Atlanta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Atlanta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Atlanta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Atlanta paves the way for another one to be saved.
