Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Maggie is a lovely 7 year old smooth black and tan Dachshund. She's a bright, curious, playful girl that absolutely loves toys! Like any Dachshund, Maggie's favorite part of playing with toys is de-stuffing and de-squeaking them! Maggie enjoys spending time with her foster, snuggling and cuddling. She's a total love that is making up for 6 years of neglect prior to entering rescue. Maggie is doing great with her potty training and likes to run around in the back yard when the weather is nice. She will need a securely fenced yard. Maggie will do best in a calm home either as an only dog or with one other small dog as she tends to get overwhelmed when around several dogs. No children under the age of 10, please.
Suggested adoption donation for Maggie is $250 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs. Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts only to people living in states neighboring Nebraska and requires the adopter to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not transport or fly our rescue dogs. A securely fenced yard is necessary to adopt one of our terriers. Please note: invisible or underground fencing is not considered secure or appropriate containment for terriers.
