Nathan's people moved away and left him behind; he sought refuge under the porch of the house where he had lived until a neighbor called The Rescue House to see if we could help him.

Nathan is a really sweet guy who didn't do a thing to deserve his abandonment. He is a calm kitty who will often wait for you to make the first move and approach him, yet when you do Nathan will rub his head against your hand and show that he's delighted to have your company. Indeed, he's a great companion kitty. Nathan sometimes hides it well behind the façade of being quite the lazy guy, yet he has his playful side and will do little friskies here and there for pipe cleaners and sparkle balls, especially in the morning.

Nathan hasn't seemed to mind the presence of other cats. We don't yet know his thoughts on dogs or very young children.

Nathan is looking for a comfortable home where he can settle in and become a loving fixture in your life-he'll be ever so appreciative and you'll be greatly rewarded!

About Our Rescue Group...

The Rescue House is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization dedicated to assisting cats through its rescue, foster and adoption activities. We find loving homes for unwanted, abandoned, homeless and abused cats. We open our arms to cats that need assistance, regardless of age and often regardless of handicap. We find good homes for every cat that we take in - we are a true no-kill cat rescue organization.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We at The Rescue House believe that we can contribute to the welfare of our furry friends by implementing an Adoption Program. Our Adoption Centers are located in retail pet stores whose philosophy agrees with The Rescue House's mission. A list of the adoption centers can be found here:
