Tipper's Story...
Meet Tipper. He is the sweetest boy at 10 weeks, weighing in at only 10 lbs. He is a bundle of energy who loves to play with his 4 siblings and any toy that may fall into his path. He is going to grow up to be a medium size boy that will fit into anyone's lap! Since he is just a little tyke, he will need a patient family to help him learn puppy etiquette, as well as house training. Are you this special family?

Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a home visit and a meet and greet. Please note that preference is given to adopters in Wisconsin, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tipper, a Fort Atkinson Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Fort Atkinson, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Fort Atkinson.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Atkinson already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Atkinson breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Atkinson paves the way for another one to be saved.
