This is Chance. The Last Resort received word of a Husky who had been dumped at Clayton County AC in Georgia by his owner after SEVEN years. He was deteriorating in the shelter environment and needed OUT. And so we did just that. To say he was broken was an understatement. Can you imagine having the same family for 7 years and then they decide they don’t have room left in their hearts for you and take you to a loud, scary place? Well that’s what happened to Chance. His name was originally Chase, but we changed it to Chance because he’s getting his second…
Chance is housebroken, crate trained, & overall is a wonderful, fun loving dog. But, Chance needs an extremely experienced, dedicated adopter. He can be dominant over his food & toys and does NOT like his chest touched. Chance needs to be an only dog with no cats or children please. He does not do well in social situations so we’d like to see Chance go to a home with a fenced yard all of his own that he can enjoy. He loves to cuddle with his humans & play with his toy duck (he's so cute with it). Chance is 58lbs, neutered, current on his vaccines and healthy. He is being fostered in NC. We do not feel Chance will do well on a volunteer transport so anyone applying should be willing to meet chance in NC.
