My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gouda
Born ~08/16, F, White Mitted, Silver Tabby and White DSH
Special Adoption fee $75

Gouda is the third of the four “Cheese Sisters”. She is the most mellow of this litter. The calico pair, Cami and Ricki, are full of it, and PepperJack, the tortie fourth, is an absolute speed and play demon. Gouda is more of a lover. She is a complete sweetheart. She can keep up with her sisters but is also so happy to hang out in someone’s arms and watch.

Her nose is, I think, the reddest I have ever seen.Nothing is wrong; it is just the way she is. If she were a male, I would have had to name her Rudolph so it is a good thing she is a girl. She is more spotted than striped and has very fine silky short fur, snowy white on her tummy.

She is a wonderful, loving companion and is good with other nice cats. Ideally, she would like to go home with one of her sisters but that is not essential. I don’t know how she is with dogs. She would probably do fine with gentle children over four feet tall. She is looking for a lap.

Gouda eats wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect. She thinks catnip is a gift of the gods.

Her foster mom is Harriet in Santa Cruz.

Contact Harriet at (831) 336-2983 or toharrietjane@comcast.net if you have questions, or send an Adoption Application. If you are unable to reach Harriet by phone or email, email us at Info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone’s best interest!
