Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Scooby hopes you Do consider giving a sweet adult dog a good home and a second chance for happiness. Scooby is a 5 year old Terrier mix male who was doted on by his human. Sadly, Scooby's person is now terminally ill and in hospice care and so Scooby, and his son Bear, need to find new homes. Scooby has been vetted, vaccinated and neutered. He had a dental cleaning and did need to have 7 teeth extracted but this has caused no problems with eating. He weighs around 10 pounds. He tested negative for heartworms. He will be microchipped prior to adoption. He is crate trained and should be house trained once he adjusts to his new home. His foster says that he is fine with men, women and children, and that a home with children over 8 years would be best. Scooby loves to be held and loved on. If you are interested in Scooby, please call his foster Peggy directly at 713-539-1442 or email pacozad13@gmail.com. If you live in another state, don't let that stand in your way. We will work to transport Scooby if it means he will have a good forever home. If you are another rescue group, we will waive the adoption fee but you can make a donation toward vetting at your discretion. The adoption fee will help to cover at least part of the cost of the veterinary care this dog has received.
