I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Say hello to our Christmas babies!! Dia was pulled from a high kill shelter right before Christmas. She was very pregnant and gave birth shortly after we got her. On December 24, 2016, she had five pups: Elmo, Elroy, Everly, Effie, and Evan. These pups have never known a bad day in their short little lives. They have all been very well socialized with adults, children, and other dogs. They all love to play and love to be snuggled. They are currently around 5-7 pounds each. Based on their mom’s size, we estimate them to be between 20 and 30 pounds once grown. We think they may be cairn terrier / pug mixes, but of course that is just a guess!!
Elmo and Elroy tend to be a little shy and hesitant initially, but once they check everything out, they are ready to go explore! These two are the “deep thinkers” who like to assess the current situation before diving in.
Everly and Effie are the queen bees….they rule the roost! These girls are not scared of anything.
Evan is an explorer. He is into everything! If he finds and open gate or door, he will be through it before you know it.
If you are interested in adding one of these sweet pups to your family, please go to www.goofyfootrescue.org to complete an online adoption application. They are currently being fostered in West Tennessee. These pups will be ready for transport on March 3. Transport runs to Harrisonburg, VA; Hagerstown, MD; Harrisburg, PA; Allentown, PA; Bedminster, NJ; Southington, CT; and Willington, CT.
