Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Up for adoption in Texas and New England: St. Nicholas. How did he get his name? St. Nicholas was a last minute save just in the nick of time over the holidays in 2016 from a high kill shelter in Texas.
St. Nick and his favorite chew bunny were delivered for fostering to his amazing foster mamma, Raye, on Christmas Eve with help from transporting elves that helped save him from his dire straits!
St. Nick is neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped. He is house trained and he licks you to let you know he needs to go potty. He is about 1-2 years old and weighs about 45lbs.
St. Nick does everything with great puppy passion and would do well with an active adopter or family. He loves to run, play, and chase leaves or bugs, whichever catches his attention first.
He does know stop and wait commands. He is working on all the other commands. St. Nick would respond well to training or classes, which are a lot of fun. He is a highly intelligent dog. He has some favorite chew tows but is always on the lookout for more things to chew. He has little fear of anything, except cats, and a great curiosity for everything, especially cats. Nick likes to snuggle with his people and is a proven bed hog. :)
Nicholas gets along great with his foster's senior female and her 3 cats when the cats allow, without any aggression shown on Nick's part.
