My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

jefferson is the cutest cairn terrier mix, he is approx 3 yrs old and 16 lbs, he is a really nice dog, gets along great with his rescue buddies, seems to be pretty well house and leash trained and loves to run and play with his toys,he does love being with people and would not be suitable for an apt as he does not like being left alone, he would like a yard to run in

The total adoption donation of $475 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. Just as a note, if you are in Massachusetts and are adopting directly from Texas rather than from a local foster, there are new quarantine laws in effect. All rescues must be quarantined 48 hours at a state run facility, and in addition, a second interstate health certificate is required to be issued by a Massachusetts vet. This new law may add an additional cost.
