Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Finch, Wren, Gannett, and Starling had a rough start at life!! Their “owner” had a Staffordshire Terrier who mated with a Chihuahua mix. She gave birth in the shed she lives in to 10 puppies. Once the owner realized that his dog had already had the pups, they were around three weeks old and five had already passed. The remaining five were very weak, malnourished, and anemic. The fifth puppy did not make it as he had frozen to death before we were notified. Unfortunately, this is just one of the many sad stories in dog rescue… As for the puppies who survived, with our vets help and their amazing foster mom, we were able to get them back to good health. Finch, Wren, Gannett, and Sterling are all happy, feisty, playful pups now. They are approximately 8 weeks old. Finch is the tiniest weighing only 2 pounds. Wren, Gannett, and Sterling weigh between 2-4 pounds. Due to their very small size, a home with no children or older children is preferred. These pups had quite a sad beginning, but they will only have the happiest of lives from here on out.
