General information

Una is smart, cute and very easy going dog. She usually chooses to back off when other dogs try to grab her food, and would wait until they are done. Una likes to play with dogs, and loves interacting with people. She gets along well with people of all ages, and is good at adapting to new environment. When she first arrives at a new place, she will quietly observe, and when she decides that it is safe, she will easily fit in her new surrounding.

Una is quite intelligent and highly obedient. She won't pull on her leash, and will make a noise to let her human know that she needs to go. She is also a fast learner. If she does something that her human does not like, all it takes is a "no" and she will know not to do that again.

And this is our Una, lovable, playful, smart and close to her human. You will feel her love will no doubt love her back.

Rescue Story

When Una was a mere pup, she wandered alone on the streets, without a roof on her head, and certainly without loving parents to protect her. When hungry, she had to find food for herself, and at times, she would meet gangs of unfriendly dogs who would attack her while vying for food. Since she did not know how to protect herself, she would frequently go hungry.

When the weather was cold and wet, she would seek shelter under eaves on the roadside. Craving for human contact, she would try to get close to people, but frequently would be chased away by those who were not friendly to dogs. Her life had been very rough, without any love and care, but ample bullying by other strays. Then, fate dealt her another blow: she was captured by a dog catcher and was sent to the pound, waiting to be destroyed.

Luckily, on the eve of her "date", she was saved from death by some volunteer who renamed her Una, hoping that a new name would bring her a new beginning.
