Milly's Story...
Welcome Milly. She is an 8 year old Chihuahua/Dachshund mix. She weighs about 6 pounds. She is a tiny girl and she is very cuddly. She is a loyal lap companion. Small dogs live to be 15 or 16 so she is only middle aged about like a 40 year old human. She recently had a litter of puppies and was surrendered because they were keeping the puppy. We are all smitten by this precious girl. She loves women naturally and warms up more slowly to men. She walked decently on a leash but will not require too much exercise. She is small enough to go into a carry purse if you wanted to take her with you. She responds to soft gentle touch and kind soft words. This girl is up on her shots, will be spayed soon, microchipped and ready for her new forever home. She can be adopted on the East or the West Coast. Her adoption fee is 170 and transport is 185. Contact me for an application.

Act quickly to adopt Milly. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Milly, a Pluckemin Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Pluckemin, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Pluckemin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pluckemin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pluckemin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pluckemin paves the way for another one to be saved.
