MILA & MACI HAVE BEEN ADOPTED!

Mila & Maci are a bonded pair searching for a family who will welcome them together. They were recently orphaned after their owner was found unresponsive and in a coma.In the blink of an eye, their whole world was turned up side down when they landed homeless in an animal shelter.
Yet despite the tragic turn of events, these 2 sweet girls kept a smile on their face and a song in their heart, wiggling their little butts in happiness greeting everyone they met at the shelter. When NBGR learned of their sad plight, we knew they deserved better, so here they are, happily waiting to share their happiness and zest for life with a brand new forever family! Could that be you?
Mila & Maci are estimated to be approximately 9 years old. Mila weighs just 14.11 lbs. and is at a perfect weight. Maci weighs 15.5 lbs. and is eager to lose 3-4 lbs. so is on a diet with no complaints!
Both are doing very well with their new housebreaking routine, and show indications of also being puppy pad trained.
Both also walk beautifully on lead, and are perfect little car riders, happy to ride in the back seat wearing harnesses attached to the seat belt or together in a secured crate.
Maci loves playing with soft plush toys and playing fetch. Mila is the sweet girl who follows your every move, but always these 2 girls are together, even when taking naps on a favorite dog bed made for two!
They will sleep quietly in a crate and night, but would prefer to snuggle with their family in the big bed at night.
Both girls are spayed, had recent dentals, are up to date on vaccinations, heart worm negative, on monthly heart worm preventative, and micro chipped.
Mila & Maci would like to extend a very special thank you to Elizabeth who learned of their plight in Arkansas, notified NBGR, and transported them to Michelle, who then transported the girls to Kansas City for grooming and vetting, along with Christine who will be transporting them to Bolivar, MO soon, where she will meet up with Angie who will lovingly care for this sweet couple in Springfield, MO until their dream of a new happily ever after comes true!
Sometimes it takes a village to help these little orphans of the storm, and without our volunteers, NBGR could not continue saving lives and making a difference in the lives of the families who eventually adopt very deserving little dogs like Mila & Maci!
