Goldie's Story...
Goldie and her sister were dumped at someone's home in Georgia, and ended up in a high kill shelter. We were so happy to get them out of there. Luckily they are healthy, happy and the cutest girls we've seen in a long time. Goldies appears to be about a year old and is underweight at 35 lbs, she should be about 45. She and her sister love attention from people, get along with all the other dogs in foster and enjoy playing together like puppies should. Goldie is super sweet, what a wonderful family dog she would be! If you would like to make Goldie part of your family, the first step is to copy and paste this link to your web browser to fill out our online application, http://members.petfinder.com/~CT243/sampleform.html. Goldie is still a puppy--playful and happy. She needs lots of time, love and patience to become the girl you hope she will be. Full vetting is included in her $350 adoption fee. and Transport up north is an additional $125. We cannot be certain what her true mix is.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Goldie, a Westport Golden Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Westport, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Westport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westport paves the way for another one to be saved.
