found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Skeet is a very sweet & meek boy that is really looking for approval! He is very eager to please and one look into those soulful eyes will make you melt instantly! he is truly an old soul.
He does well with cats after an adjustment period. After they both get over being scared of each other, you might catch them snuggling! He does very well with other dogs and children too! He is medium energy. He's okay with just taking a walk or having a big play date! It's whatever your heart desires with him!
He is house trained and crate trained, knows sit, stay and lay down. He's also a very quick learner! The only thing he needs besides your love is patience and work at becoming comfortable with trimming his nails!
If you are interested in adopting Skeet please email SLN2310@yahoo.com and request an application. Once your application has been received and reviewed, you will be contacted via email or phone by one of our volunteers. After your application is approved, the foster parent for the dog you have selected will contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family.
If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue. Catahoula Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer group. Dogs in our program are fostered by volunteers. The foster homes care for our dogs as if they were their own.
All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered. Skeet's adoption donation is $400 which includes Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, fecal test, heartworm test when appropriate and is on preventative, microchip, and neuter. We do not have a physical shelter, all of our dogs are fostered in individual foster homes across the New England and Canada.
