Meet FANNY in Rhode Island
We do not transport dogs out of the area. We ask that you live within 50 miles of the dog's location. We are an all volunteer organization and can only respond when a completed application is filed. We do list our requirements, so please read carefully. Sometimes the ad states the date the dog is expected to arrive into Rhode Island....so please don't be discouraged if you don't hear right back. All dogs are adopted through contract.
MUST HAVE FENCED YARD...........SHE LOVES THE OUTSIDE..........
Fanny has had a rough start in her life as she was found wandering around and picked up by animal control in Arkansas. But her luck turned around as we rescued her, fully vetted her and brought her up to Rhode Island to connect to her forever family. She is roughly 1-2 years old, about 25 lbs. and an unknown breed. We listed her as a terrier, but we are not sure We do know that she is sweet, loving and will make a great companion for a person who will keep her busy. She will need basic training, including some more potty training, and expect our adopter to take her to training class. We would like her adopter to not leave her alone more than about 4 hours. She would probably good with children who are used to dogs. The fence is a MUST as she loves the outside and to run around.

Once we have reviewed your application and think it is a match we will notify you. Please understand that as these dogs are fostered we do get to know them and have a good idea of their forever home. We do NOT save applications, but you may put multiple names on one applciation. We do not choose by a first come first serve basis. So if the dog is still up on the site, consider the dog AVAILABLE. We do take down quickly when adopted.
