Burly Bear is a sweet little terrier lab shep mix who, at 3 mos, weighs 12 lbs. His mom, Honore', is a wire-haired terrier mix who weighs about 35 lbs. Burly and his sister, Pookie Tail, were born in the cold rain Thanksgiving week. By the time a kind man found Honore' huddled against his house, only 2 puppies in her litter had survived the elements. Burly is smart and playful and is coming along on his housetraining. Not quite there yet! He does know how to sit for treats.

Because these pups still have sharp little teeth, we prefer to place them in homes with no small children. Feel free to submit an application here:

About Our Rescue Group...

OOTW helps people who help animals. We primarily assist folks who take in stray or abandoned animals and offer them assistance with discounted veterinarian services and assist with placement in adoptive homes. Come Meet Our Pets...

We do not have a shelter. Our pets are being cared for in foster homes. We allow prospective adopters to meet the pet by appointment after we have approved the home to adopt and feel that we have a good match.

Our Adoption Process...

We ask that an adopton application be filled out and returned to help us make the best match possible for the rescued pet and for the adoptive home.

Our adoption fee is $150.00 We do add transportation costs which are paid by the adoptive home varying from $150.00-$200.00 for out-of-state adoptions only.
