Greetings hoomans! My name is Susan! They say the name Susan brings love and new starts into life! What a wonderful coincidence since I am looking for my new start with a forever home!
I’m sure you want to know a little bit about me and as things would have it I am learning things about myself. See, I spent a long time in a shelter. My owners never came for me so I was picked up by the Mobile Mutts Rescue to find the perfect home for me! I am a sweet as pie 50-pound girl and they tell me I’m a Rottweiler/Lab mix and around one-years-old. I’m not sure what that means, all I know is I’m a dog and I LOVE people! I’m still learning how to be a dog, since being in the shelter didn’t give me much time to do things other dogs do. But I’m making up for it in my foster home!
I enjoy the company of meeting other dogs as long as we shake paws first. I’m told by sources close to me that I have high energy and some dogs aren’t fond of that, so I might need help reigning myself in. (Remember I’m only a year old) I would prefer to be the only dog in your house but with proper introductions we could be best friends if you have another furry friend. I've never been around kitty cats before so I’m not sure if we would get along or not, but I do love people! Come and pet and love on me all day is my motto! Oh did I mention that I have totally nailed that “going potty only outside thing”?
